Ouch, stupid soap sud. It popped in my EYE! >.< I rub it a bit, reaching around the bubbles for the shower head that I know is there...what's this? A knob? I turn it blindly. Suddenly, the sound of running water fills the room. Ah, here's the shower head. I rinse my eye with it, then turn it back off.
Ahhh...paradise.
It's the best thing about having a hyper pill first thing in the morning, you know. Especially when there's food. It gives you the perfect excuse to climb into the biggest bathtub in LO. You're dirty, the pills make you tired...
Something drips from the cieling. o.o It's cold. Something plops into the nest of bubbles. That's probably cold too.
Water? >.>
There's water coming through the crack in the cieling again. x.x
I sigh. It takes too much effort to do this everyday...heaving myself out of the shower, I wistfully run my hands over the neon orange bubbles floating above the bathwater and let it drain. Hmm, that's funny. The water's a murky brown.
@.@ Ah well.
Drying myself off, I put on a bathrobe, listening to the gurgling of the bathtub. It always takes about half an hour for the tub to drain. What do you expect? It's HUGE. Hence, the numbers on our bill are also HUGE.
Pft, not like I'm the one paying for them.
Okay, so I am. T______T Darn.
But it's time to pay whoever's causing the leak upstairs a visit. Climbing so I'm balanced over the tub, I reach up and take a step on the towel rack. Next, I haul myself over the top of the shower doors. Still sturdy. Slowly, I reach up...and touch the cieling. Project accomplished. Now, to get rid of the cold water...I bang against the plaster so bits of it rain down on me.
"HEYYY!!!"
A voice replies. "HEYYY!!!"
"HEY YOU!"
"HEY YOU!"
"YOU!"
"YOU!"
"NO, YOU!"
"NO--"
"LISTEN UP! WHOEVER'S UP THERE, THE WATER'S LEAKING AGAIN!"
"...THE WATER'S LEAKING AGAIN!"
"YES! SO PLUG IT ALREADY!"
"...PLUG IT ALREADY!"
"NO, IT'S NOT--"
The door slams open. Bending down to peer over the edge, I see about four pairs of eyes staring up at me. Ha ha, don't they look so funny from here? Like bugs.
"You done with the bath yet, Snow?" Sar asks.
"No," I reply petulantly. "Why?"
"Because we're all waiting," Adri replies, tapping her foot in impatience.
"So?"
"We're dirty too," Nerfe points out.
"And...?"
"We'd like to use the bath some time in the next twenty four hours." Yunsi finishes. She's talking really slowly...as if I'm slow in the head.
I am NOT. >.<
I climb and clatter down the walls of the bathroom, slipping and sliding most of the way. Dangit, why is the cieling so high? DDD<
"Who's up there?" Landing rather ungracefully on my feet, I point in some direction. Up, hopefully.
"To the left?"
"No, up there."
"To the right?"
"NO. THERE."
"Oh, downstairs? No one is--"
"No, UP."
"No one."

"But someone was up there. I talked to them."

"You mean when you were yelling."
Heh. "Yeah."
"That was your echo."
"My echo?"
"Yeah, your echo."

"But what if it was Fae?"
"She's in her studio, drawing again. She wouldn't be up there. Trying out the effects of the water level on abstract art, or something."
Dangit.
"But she had to shower too."
"When does she ever?"
Oh. Good point. Something about being one with the art materials or something.
"But what if it was?" I insist.
"It was your echo."
"My echo?"
"Yeah, your echo."

Why am I wrong again? Dx I always am. I won't stand for this.
Or sit for this.
Or lay for this.
Instead, I grab them all and pull them into the bathtub. C:
"GAH!"
"ICK!"
"HEYYY!"
"EWW!"
Turning on the water again, I jump in. Definitely the life.
"WATER FIGHT!!!"
