"Goooooo LO!"
My yell's pitch falls flat as I stand there hesitantly, uncertain where to begin. There are a few things I know, of course.
1) The entire deck is full of milling limbs, whether human, spirit, or animal.
2) I need to join in this battle.
I suppose I'll just jump in...Now!
No, wait. Whoa. Like...now?
No, now! >.<
I blindly send my fist out, punching nothing. As I crack open an eyelid, I stare. My arm seems to be embedded in a spirit's tummy. I wiggle my fingers a bit, then grab a handful of slimy stuff and pull it out.
Eww, spirit guts. >:
I run away from the spirit, grabbing hold of a rope. I swing it to and fro like a whip, hoping to keep these creepy pirates away from me.
Thwack! Smack!
Ugh, it's getting heavy. x.x
"Oy! Snow! Stop swinging that thing!" Fae cries out. "You're knocking our heads off!"
I pause for a moment. I seem to have flattened Yunsi, who's sitting on the deck, a bit dumbfounded. Tears pour out of her eyes.
"Wah! I have a bump on my head!"
I cringe; she looks murderous. Luckily for me, she rams through the pirates instead. Maybe she thought they did it. =o
Ah well. C:
Suddenly, there're two distressed cries. Adri and Sar stand at the helm of the boat, swinging their own makeshift weapons. However, both seem to be on either side of the wheel, and perilously, the boat rocks. Left, right, left, right, right...no, right...
x.o Dizzy!
I run over to them, partially to be a good friend, but 51% because I'm getting sick. Swinging my rope at the backs of the pirates clumped before my friends, I realize it's just going through them.
"Gah!"
I turn to see YYugi there, trying to run his sword through the ghosts. "Why don't these things die?" he asks furiously, stabbing repeatedly out of frustation.
Suddenly, a light bulb goes off on my other side. Looks like someone's got an idea. >.>
"Run through them!" Chibi-bunni cries. "Adri! Sar!"
They stare at her for a moment, dumbfounded. o.o
"Are you crazy?"
"No!" >.< "But I'm smart! Run!" And so she delves through the transparent pirate bodies, pulling the two out.
"Eek! Splinter in my foot!"
"Ow ow ow!"
Nerfe and Des appear, equally mischevious grins on their faces. They appear to be climbing out from the hold beneath...
"Oy! Idiots! Stop hiding and give us a hand!" I holler.
"We're not hiding," Nerfe says matter-of-factly.
"Right. We've been thinking. It needs to be quiet. Then, of course..." Des trails off.
"We found gasoline!" ^w^
o.o OMG. Nowai. Gas?
"FIRE!"
Suddenly, a column of flame erupts to the sky. It's like we ran into an expanding cylinder of sound, blowing us off the deck by force. As I pop up into the sky, along with my friends and our strange saviors, we see the ghosts burning on the ship.
"Ai~eeeeeeee!"
"My sock's burning!"
The cries get smaller and smaller as we float higher and higher up into the air.
Did we die? =o
"Ooh...are we going to heaven?"
"No, shillies, you jusht have to wait for gravity to pull ush down again."
I turn, startled. Right, I'd forgotten about these...erm, creatures.
"Who exactly are you?"
"We're the Ijksh."
"Ijshk?" =S
"Aye. Thoshe chickiesh called ush here." C:
Oh. We exchange glances, still floating in the sky.
"Erm, well." Someone clears their throat. "Do you think there's a way to get us back to our homes? You know, on land?"
"Of courshe. Jusht tell ush where you live..."

Enough travelling already. Dx I'm bored of that. We're going home, dangit.
But I hope this wasn't too bad. =D
This is a day early because I don't know if I'll have time tomorrow to update...so yeah. C:
