We all freeze, our champagne glasses in the air, about to try and make our toasts without slopping fizzy, staining alcohol on our quaint costumes when suddenly--
WHOOOSH.
Uh, dood, where are we? o.o
"Hey, why am I seeing so much white?" I ask, puzzled. A few figures emerge in my line of vision, as if they're emerging from a cloudy veil of fog.
"Am I...dead? I have to go to heaven, I have to go to heaven, omg no way HELL..." Adri mutters.
"WHERE'S MY CHAMPAGNE!?!?!" Des shrieks.
"This has to be the most pitiful way to die. Ever," Fae sighs.
"Ahem-ahem," someone chirps.
OMG IT'S UMBRIDGE. IT MUST BE HELL!
"Thanks," Sar says cheekily. "Now, could we please find a way to get back home? This floating is making me bloated." >.<
"You, bloated? Aha ha ha..." Nerfe cracks up.
"Okay, this floating is making me uncomfortable too, guys. Stop kidding around," Bunni interrupts.
"Maybe at the stroke of midnight, the world ended?" YYugi suggests.
"Uh...no. Because how did we exist in our time, then?"
"Oh, ha ha, I dunno. We were left, we procreated, and once we made enough babies, our minds were erased!!!"
EEWWWW. o.x
"Hey, look, a handle!"
We all shift forward in the fog, gazing at the handle that has indeed materialized from the whiteness.
"Well, there's nothing worse than this, so I'll just--"
CREAK-THUMP.
Suddenly, it's dark. Then, a few lights seem to flicker on. I wave at the fog before me, it disperses, and we're suddenly in...
"THE BASEMENT?!?!"
"There is no way we've been in the basement of LO the whole time. What did we go in? A time machine?"
"Maybe we were all really drunk? Thinking about it, I do have a headache and I do feel a bit thirsty..." >.> <.<
"And we all saw the same thing. Riiight."
"Meh. But at least we're back, no?"
"YAYZ FOR HOMEEEE~!!!!!11!!!!oneeleven!!ONE!"
