A little girl pulls on the hem of her mother's dress, diverting the woman's attention, momentarily, from the funny people who have washed up on the beach.
"Ho shiz, mamma, who're they?"
Quickly, she hurries her poor child away, and the rest of the crowd slowly chugs along, allowing a few seconds to stare and gape.
"We can't be that interesting," Des mutters, pulling at his wet clothing. Adri squints through the mess of her hair.
"I suppose this is our fifteen minutes of fame?"
Sar groans. "Couldn't those fifteen minutes been a bit more glamarous?"
"Yeah," Fae agrees. "I never imagined I'd share it with you guys. Takes a little away from it, you know."
Chibi-bunni is the first to finally make it up on her feet, swaying precariously. "Maybe if we stand up, we won't look so horrible."
I try to stand up myself, getting sand in my mouth in the process. Quickly, I grab a hold of her shoulder, and we clutch on to each other to keep from overbalancing. "Thanks; four feet are always better than two!"
YYugi shakes his head from his place in the sand. "You guys look drunk."
"It's not like sitting's making this any better, anyway," Nerfe speaks up. He's standing the most sturdily out of all of us, smirking slightly. Yunsi glares at his quietly smug self and flings a handful of sand up in the air, resigned to the effort needed to stay up on two feet.
"If only those crabs were around to carry us again," she complains. "Purple would've made a wonderful carriage." However, she manages to stand up. All of us dust the sand from our bottoms.
"Where do you think we are this time?" =S
Somewhere civilized, I suppose. I say as much. After all, there are people, not just creepy critters with sharp, dangerous anatomy. As a matter of fact, they look curiously like us. Curiously...
"They look like gaians, no?"
We've arrived back home! =D
"Erm, excuse me." Sar interrupts a couple snogging in the middle of the street. Their eyes bug out a bit. "Would you happen to know where this place is?"

How tactful. -_-;;
"Isle De Gambino." The girl looks at her oddly, then goes back to eating her boyfriend whole. Yunsi drags her away.
"That...wasn't necessarily very, erm, polite," Chibi-bunni points out. ^^;
"Here, lemme go ask him," Fae points at another person, dancing on the curb to the music of what looks like a Zony MP3.
"Hey, you!!!" she yells. "What day is it?"
He ignores her, blissfully rocking away. Fae returns, rather crestfallen. "You try, Nerfe."
He looks undecided for a moment, then heads off in one direction, strolling over to a group of giggling bimbos playing volleyball. Their voices float over to us, incessantly high and chattery.
"Like, when?"
"OMG!!!"
"What a cutie..."
They pat him on the head like a dog, then walk away, giggling. He shakes his head, returning with no answer to the question.
"What bimbos," he says.
I told you so. :C
"Maybe we should go find a newspaper," YYugi suggests. "It should have the date on it."
Des immediately spots one. Picking it up, he squints at the smudged ink. "February 3rd?"
A voice, scornful and haughty, comes up behind us. "Of course not. It's just passed Easter, idiots. Where's your Easter eggs?"
We turn around, surprised at finally getting an answer.
Oh geez. The robotic Easter bunny. You sure he knows the right date and isn't programmed to say that all the time to put more people in sanitoriums? I mean, after all, no one's been buying that cheap real estate in the Reclamation Facility...
"May I have an egg, pleeeaaassse~" Chibi-bunni and yunsi beg.
"Of course, gracious ladies." With a flourish, two easter eggs appear, and the bunny is once more caught up in the festivities with the rest of the street.
Oh, they're pretty. *0*
"Hey, look, they've got chickies in them!"
~chirp chirp!~
"Awww...how cute!"
~chirp!~
Suddenly, the little birds jump down to the ground and waltz down the streets. Quickly, they're swallowed up by the crowd.
"Hey! My pet's running away! Come back here!" >.<
"Uwah...don't get stepped on!" D<
We exchange glances. It looks as if we have no choice but to follow.

Wow, for me, writing this, meeting humans is like a breath of fresh air. Ahh~
We shall be getting back to LO soon. Hopefully. >.> I mean, it's not predictable, is it?
