O.O That fizzy, sophisticated alcohol they call champagne is suddenly all over the place.
And suddenly no where at all at the same time, too. :C
What did we expect, honestly? Take all that champagne, pop a few corks, spill it around a bit...and before we know it, all the bottles are empty. The fizzy stuff's gone.
"The sand drank it." Dx
"But the sand's, well...dry." =S
"YOU drank it!" =o
"No, you idiots...it was absorbed into the sand. Don't be DAFT."
I prod moodily at one of the logs. My midnight drink is gone. Dx
"Ah well, I don't drink, anyway," chimes Chibi-bunni.
"Neither do I," shrugs YYugi.
"Oh come on...just a festive sip." I say.
"Yeah...like a celebratory ritual," Sar agrees dramatically. Ha ha, as if. Alcohol means a lot more to her than that... >.> <.< Adri snorts, as if in agreement.
"Well..." Yunsi begins.
"What?" Fae snaps.
"Er...there's still some grog stuff."
"Eww," Des deadpans.
Plopping down on the sand, I wave my arms and legs about, trying to make a sand angel but to no avail. Picking myself up, I head over to the damper sand by the shoreline.
Swish-swish, swish-swish--
"Eek!!!"
I jump up as a wave creeps up on me, splashing me with cold ocean water. Shaking myself, I give no care to my friends being sprayed.
"Hey!"
"Don't get that putrid stuff on us!"
And idea comes to mind. I run up to the two nearest people, pulling them with me to the ocean. We all fall down in a madly giggling heap.
"Ha ha, don't do that again!" Chibi-bunni laughs, spewing seawater.
"Ick! I'm all wet!" Nerfe shakes his arm, watching droplets glint in the firelight, then dives back in, resurfacing. "Ah well."
Everyone else charges into the water, splashing up frothy bubbles as the stumble into the sea. Laughing, I dunk the nearest person, Fae.
"Gah, Snow!" In return, she knocks me into Des and Adri, dunking all three of us. o.o All of us struggle back up to the surface, then pounce on Fae, as well as Yunsi, who happens to be near her. In an effort to stay upright, Yunsi grabs YYugi's arm, and they both bubble underneath the surface.
"Ick! Salty!"
"My eyes burn!"
"Hey!"
I barely have time to close my eyes and turn away before a wave claims me.
"Eeee!!!"
"Watch ouuuutttttt!"
"Ahh!"
"Nooo!!!"
"WHEEE!!!"
I leap up, trying to ride the next wave. Sadly, I'm not experienced in such things, and the momentum sends me in a somersault, bumping me into several of my friends.
"Hey!"
"Ha ha, this is fun!"
"Let's play Marco Polo!" Sar announces as another wave crashes by.
"Not it!"
"Not it!"
"I'm not it either!"
"Me neither!"
"Not it!"
We all call out in a cacauphony of sound, unable to see who's last. As it is, we all close our eyes, swimming out to whack as much wet flesh and clothing as we can.
WHACK-SMACK-CRACK!
"Errr...guys?"
We all open our eyes, seeing not trace of the brightly burning bonfire, or the once-near coastline.
"HELP!!!"

I don't think I've ever spent so little time writing a journal entry. C: Helps that I wrote almost half of it in school before. >.> <.<
Anyway, hope you guys have fun reading this. Can't stay; I have other things to take care of!
