To My Ever-Seeing Stranger:
Oh! I am so embarrassed that you saw my hat fly off that I have just forgotten everything else you just told me. I was wearing that hat as part of a little game that you were never supposed to know about, but as it didn’t work, I shall tell you about it. I wore the straw hat because the brim would be able to obscure my face from your view. While you would still be able to see the rest of me, if I pulled my hat just the right way, you couldn’t see my face or my hair (it had been pinned up rather elegantly for the beginning of the day). I was going to peek at you before we passed under the bridge, but my hair became extremely fussy from the wind, and I ended up pocketing half of the pins and losing all of the others. I realized that I had passed under the bridge you were standing on, and since I could not see you with the sun in my advantage anymore, I decided to try again from the other side…only to have my hat blown off. I caught it, but my movement was enough to cause the boat to roll about rather dangerously.
I did get the chance to spy on you today, however. I saw dark hair in curls and a green pullover, not being able to see anything else because of my height disadvantage and the fact that you were not facing me. I suppose you got another good look at me because I turned and waved, and you waved back. At least you are not my silhouetted stranger anymore, just my stranger. I still have yet to place features on your face.
Let me see…where were we? I agree that it is a much better idea to drop the letters into a mailbox rather than letting them drift to me. If I said it was out of concern of the letter’s safety, however, I would be lying. It does not seem fair if you get to drop letters to me but I can’t throw them up to you. Selfish reasons, I know.
You collect the letters too? I thought it would be my little secret to hide them away into a small stack (or what will soon become a large stack of enormous proportions) in the empty chest at the foot of my bed. Old-fashioned, I know, but it has become very useful. I can pull them out and read them in order, smiling from my bed while I try to place a voice to each word. You’re still very mysterious, aren’t you? I suppose I could notice you if I were to see you on the streets, but if it were up to my imagination, I would never find you.
I find that I am growing tired, so I shall yawn and say goodnight. Until next time!

My favorite part of this is coming up with nicknames for them. You’ll notice that they’ll keep on getting more and more endearing as time goes by. XD
Whoot! A longer entry. I felt so inspired when I saw how long Adri’s was, I just had to make it long. This time, it wasn’t so difficult.
I know that I didn’t make this a return letter for #2. I think I will only write it like that when there are two letters in an entry. I think you can tell who’s writing what letter from the address and the closing.
Adri and I were looking at blinkies (or icons or avatars…call them what you want) yesterday…I think I want to make my own. Probably unanimated, just because I only have Photoshop 6 that might be able to do it. And I don’t know how. xP I’ll see about it. They’ll look nice in here, won’t they?
Also, I drew two pictures, one of my avatar, and one of my friend [vintage_love] for her birthday. I met her in the breedables shop Foxune Meadows. In honor of the special day, I dedicate this entry to vintage. Happy Birthday! xD
