0_o; What's with this? My journal entry doesn't show up...or rather, didn't. Damn all the complications with my new layouts and my deleted entries...*rambles on*
For those of you subscribed...did you get any alert about a new update? I suppose not...it said no one read it. Heh. Even if I went in to edit my post five or six times...-_-;;
Well, as all of you know, I got back from music camp. For some reason that I do believe that I can understand, I don't think any of you care much for it outside of common courtesy. Thus, I shall not bore you with details.
Heatwave!!!~ That's all I can say.
My friends and I spent sometime making biscotti yesterday. =D We had to make a present for our private lessons teacher who had taught me for a year and her for two years on clarinet. However, now that he is going away to obtain the last semester of his master's degree, we decided to thank him in case he never came back and wish him good luck. Thus, I came up with the genius plan to get him a coffee thermos for the morning lattes he probably craves for and to fill it with biscotti. However, since the thermos isn't really big enough, we just put the biscotti on the outside. It's all from scratch: the card, the display in the basket...even the biscotti. It was rather simple, really, with just eggs, multi-purpose flour, baking soda...all that basic stuff. And we added pistachios and golden raisins. While it may not sound very relative, it tastes wonderful. Twenty for him, eight for my friend, and six for my family. Of course, we ate six more end peices yesterday. Scavengers.
I have a yearn to make a new thread, but I don't know what. Not an RP; I already have a big responsiblity to one. Besides, I think this is a passing crave. I don't want to make a minishop thread, because I'm done with that for awhile, and I don't want to keep one. As I said, it's passing. Maybe something general? But I want to pretty up a lot of posts! x.x I was hoping that posting here would help relieve the yearning...and of course, that my posts in here would start showing up again.
I finished The Count Of Monte Cristo!!! The book is great, especially as you near the end. Everything connects, and there's a lot of depth to the emotions that you wouldn't expect in a classic. I hope that motivates my dear honors friends to keep going to the end!
