The narrarator in this is my main character for a story I've been thinking about for quite some time...

I jumped in front of him, I don't know why, but I did. Just after I made it, the bullet pierced my shoulder, soon after, another hit my side. Seering pain spread through my my body. These weren't normal bullets, they were cursed or poisoned or something. The pain was getting to be unbearable.
I staggered from impact. Soon after I was shot, something entered my mind, a memory? a premonition? I knew not, all I felt now was a dream wash over me.

I was in a glass tube, Judin was outside of it.
"Siereen" he called frantically.
" Judin..." I was on the verge of tears.
he ran up to the glass and pressed his hand on it. I did the same from inside, I was so close to the glass it started to fog.
" don't worry about me," I tried to say confidently, " Try stopping Merno."then I added softly, almost in a whisper," I love you"
" I love you too," he said confidently, "We'll meet again, and I'll stop Merno, I promise."
Judin was getting pulled away from the glass roughly by someone.
I called to him,"'I know you will."
Smoke surrounded me. that's all I remembered before came back to me

Life came back into focus. Suddenly I realised that I was Siereen angelic and guardian of Salandria. I tried moving to tell Judin the news, but when I tried, my legs gave way beneath me, I don't know which way I fell, but Judin caught me. I could feel his hand holding my head up and his body pressing close to mine.I managed to open my eyes. My vision was blurred , but I could see his outline.
I had to let him know... That I knew who I was. So I sang, I don't know why, but I did.
"Open your eyes
and see a new day.
never forget,
I am always with you..."
I must have coughed out blood then, because I felt the rough fabric of Judin's tunic wiping the corner of my lip. I lost my voice after that, My eyes closed and I felt darkness press in on me. As the world became lost to me, I heard him sing back very softly:
"I will never forget
That I love you so."
He really did have a nice voice for a guy.
