This week has taken an emontional toll on all of us at Banks County High School. Not just one but two families are grieving tonight from their loss. A boy I grew up with shot himself in the bathroom at school yesterday. He shot himself right next to the band room which was where I was. I heard the shot and now knowing what happened to him when we heard it scares me to death. I cant believe but I can beleive that bullying sent him over the edge to such extremes. A girl flipped her truck last weekend and was on life support ever since. She passed late last night. She was pronounced brain dead earlier this week but her parents kept her on life support as long as they could stand to. My best friend was good friends with her and he was there last night until she was gone. And the boy i grew up with was airlifted yesterday to the hospital and was in critical condition. They both fought a long hard battle but now they're in a better place. We all loved them dearly and they will be deeply missed by all. It just goes to show everyone that you should never take life forgranted and love everyone dont single them out because they're different. Dont take anybody forgranted ever because what's on the outside can be a complete mask of what's on the inside. Smile and be kind you never know it may save someone's life.
