Well, it's been about a week since I took Conan's advice to go fishing. To be truthful, I'm much better now! In fact, I know when to let the line go when there's trash on the other side. I see the patterns. Fishing is lots of fun. I decided that now would be a good time to go fishing with people, instead of just by myself. I found a nice spot with a girl fishing. I introduced myself to her as I sat down. She had purple hair, red eyes, a black tank top with skulls on it, black pants, and black shoes. Her name was Alison. She greeted me with a welcoming smile and a friendly "Hi!". I sat down and started talking. We really had a nice chat. She told me about herslf, as did I. We quickly became friends. My first ! What a great accomplishment for me. While we were talking, she looked up and waved. I looked behind me and saw a girl walking up. She had red hair and brown eyes. She wore a brown coat, brown skirt, gloves, and fancy slippers. Her name was Stephany, but her nickname was Roxy Chick. I smiled at that! It turns out that they knew eachother. Both girls were best of friend from up north. I can't quite recall the name of the name of their city, but it was cold up there nonetheless. I pulled out my fishing rod, and cast my line. We fished for some time, and enjoyed pleasant conversation. It was real great. The girl at the quest cottage was right, people here are friendly. I just made two friends I didn't know I could. I was grateful for having Alison as my first friend, as I was sure I would been gone by now if it weren't for her. I left the lake and and rummaged around my house for some money. I went to the floral shop and bought a bouquet for her. It wasn't much, but it was what I thought a nice gift for a good first friend should be. She accepted it with enthusiasm, and we've been friends since!
Fishing is definitely a good way to make friends. In fact, I made another friend there. I was walking by the lake one day, and heard a conversation in progress. They were talking about Kingdom Hearts, my favorite game! I asked if I could join, and I was quickly accepted. One of them fishing wore a white button-up shirt, slacks, and a tie. He had gray hair. But that wasn't his strange feature. He had on these gloves that looked like they belonged on a were-wolf! He was known as Leon Black Heart. It was a site to see! As we talked, the others left gradually, and joined in. When I finally left, we had sawped quite a few stories. We had a lot in common about the game. It was sure nice to see that people had things in common with me. It made it easy to make friends. I now spend a lot of time fishing, making friends where I go.
Well, what did I tell you Kovu? Isn't this a nice place. You've only been here a week, and you've made three friends, not to mention the girl at the cottage, and the shop owner. You should congratulate yourself!Yeah, well... It's all thanks to you Conan. I wouldn't have made it here if it weren't for you. I've changed my mind about something.

Oh Kovu, you don't need to do that. A procedure like that would cost too much.No no, I want to to. I'll see if I can raise the money, and get my friends to help. You just wait, it'll happen!
