There's a song that only plays around Christmas time on this radio station I listen to. Supposedly, it's a VERY requested song, and last night I just really wanted to hear it. So, of course, I turn on the station and listen for a while. Christmas song after Christmas song, and mine never comes on. So, after about an hour of waiting, I figure I should call in to request it. Big mistake. I spent the next hour and a half listening to the "line is busy" signal and letting the phone auto-redial for me. I keep waiting because... well, the line has to clear up sooner or later, right? Nope. I spent my whole night, basically, just listening to songs I don't really care much for in one ear, and listening to the annoying "beeeep beeeep" of the phone in the other.
Bah humbug.
If I knew who friggin' sang the song, I'd just go out and buy the CD. mad
Oh well. I guess I get to do the same thing tonight! Oh joy... someone had better'd call it in before I get going... stare I swear.
