Water craves the sun.
Through water vapor, i rises high into the sky
In an attempt to hold,
To grasp,
To touch
The sun.
But no matter how high the water tries to go
It forever will never touch the bright burning object,
For it will always be brought back down
By the cool air in it's way.
It falls back as tears to the Earth,
Mourning over it's inability to serve out completion...
And thus,
It is doomed to follow the same fate for eternity.
Sad yet is this.
The mournful story of the water,
Sun oblivious and dense,
Sweetly cruel,
Scornfully desired,
And never to be touched.
But yet still the Water looks to new horizons,
Searching in vain
To quench it's desire.
But in vain, it will search, and in vain twill it reach
The completion it seaks,
And thus be filled yet empty,
For only the Sun can fulfill its hungering desires.
I feel as if I'm am that water... desperately reaching out... but never able to reach her goals. I feel rather worthless and unappreciated. But I know that everyone holds some appreciation for me, though they show it little.
I don't know how much longer I can go on before I finally snap..........
