So being the procrastinator we all know and love I was left with half a bag of hash browns as my only eatable thing In my entire house/dorm/residence. Figuring it was time to go grocery shopping me and my best buddy Zee wandered out to the bus stop at about 6:30pm that evening, hopping on the number 4 we rode down to Safeway which is normally a good 15 minute walk from the school, not far at all. At least when not -25 without the wind-chill.
Zee needed a phone card for her phone, we checked shoppers which was right beside Safeway, they said they sold them at the post office which when checked was closed. Because the creator hates us.
We checked Safeway just for the hell of it, the dude at customer service didn?t even know what a pay and talk card was. Some how this didn?t shock and surprise me, but it pissed Zee off greatly.
We bought our food and lugged everthing outside again, once out there we noticed a 7-11 right across the street from Shoppers, so we decided to brave the elements and the burden of our food both on our backs (backpack I luff you) and our hands and waddled over. Turns out the creator still hates us since they sold them as well but were all sold out. I though Zee was about to slug the guy because heres how the conversation went.

Zee- Great! Can I get a $10 one please?
7-11 Lacky- Oh normally you could but you see, we?re all sold out at the moment. But we do have this deal on...
Zee- *eye twitch* ... *leaves*

So after that we decided to go to the Max, which was all the way back near the school but the bus doesn?t go by it so we (lucky people that we are) got to walk.
A good 25 minutes later we finally made it. Sure enough they did have $10 pay and talk cards. So Zee didn?t have to murder anyone!
We got back around 8ish. After climbing 6 flights of stairs we unpacked everything and decided to try and watch Mulan 2 which Zee had just finished downloading on her computer, all settled and happily fed we turned it on. The quality was fantastic! Not fuzzy and the sound actually met up with the rest of the movie, the only issue? It was all in Spanish.
*eye twitch*
So back out we went! We ended up walking to the movie store which was a good 20 minute walk in the dark and snow of downtown.
We ended up getting the movie and we went to McDonalds. They were closed. We went to Taco Bell. They were closed. We went to Dominos Pizza. They were closed.
We noted that Someone up there really hated us today.
Depressed, freezing and with sore backs and empty bank accounts we walked back home to watch our hard earned movie.
It was so worth it =3.
