Im actually at a friends house babysitting her 2 year old daughter for her. Not that I do much considering shes asleep.. but shes such an adorable little kid.
Her mom is constantly calling me 'Jackie-Chan' XD Ive been called that before but this is by far the longest the name has stuck. Im usually J-Chan. But now Ive been dubbed Jackie Chan and its lasted.. hm I met her last year so.. yeah since then =3 well last school year, in September.
Anyways the point I wanted to get to with that is now apparently her daughter is calling me that which is just adorable! She told me today that she was telling her daughter that I would be coming over that day to watch her that night.
Le Mommy " Jackie's coming over, is that alright? arent you excited sweety?"
The adorable little 2 year old who likes to give me rocks Oo; "Jackie?"
Mommy "Yes Jackie, you know Jackie"
Adorable baby "Jackie Chan!"
XD apparently thats how she knows me, which I find funny and cute as hell.
Her mom was shocked as well because she didnt realize that she called me that in front of her little one that often.
Mwah I feel special.
But oh my god she's going to be such a handful when shes older Oo; she's just amazing to watch! We went on a 'date' today XD which consisted of me being pulled around by my fingers down a hallway while dinner was being made.
Apparently she can now unlock the front door on her own, so they're getting another lock. And her vocabulary and just sentences have just exploded since I met her last september.
And what I meant with by her going to be a handful is that, well her mom is a political science major (going with honors) a goth and a feminist.
She asks her daughter if she can say stuff like 'the bush admin is bad' and 'are you a little rebel lady?' "Yes Im a rebel lady" <~~ shes very loud with that XD
And like she can say words like, politics, philosophy ... and just... a large amounts of other words.
Well not just words but whole sentences and you can tell that she knows what shes talking about shes not just parroting stuff back at you.
Also her mom isnt like brainwashing her either if your worried about that Oo; shes kidding around a good majority of the time but you can tell that her daughter is not going to lack in the politics department, shes going to be well versed and opinionated thats for damn sure.
Im excited to see how shes going to grow up and what kind of women she's going to become. A great one Im guessing, you can tell already.
Oh yes the actual reason I wanted to post in here,
I used to babysit a great deal, but I havent for a while and er I had to go and change her diper and I was all freaked because I didnt want to wake her up Xx; but I wasnt about to leave her in a wet diper.
But Im all happy and proud to say that not only did I manage to get the diper on the right way the first time but I did it without waking her up. Go Me!
