Today i was outside...and it was raining again. Its been doing that alot it feels like... but basically i ended up looking at a puddle. Looking into a puddle. And what clicked...was life is very much like a puddle.
It starts off small. It grows. You can look around the edges and see clearly whats at the bottom, but as you look closer to the middle, it gets murkey. Sometimes if you are patient and you wait....the dirt will settle and you can see all then.
Raindrops fall, sometimes only a few, sometimes many. They all add to the puddle a little bit though. And when they hit...they make ripples. Some ripples collide with eachother, go agaist eachother and terminate eventually. Other ripples might travel the entire surface. Some ripples are so small and far appart they never meet eachother.
Some people only focus on the puddle itself...whats inside. Others....can see the reflection of the world on the surface as well. You can watch yourself change in the tiniest of ways. Even if its just the wind blows and your hair shifts slightly.
Ripples .... bubbles..... it seems liek the only way to explane something as complex as life itslef is is to use analogies of simpler things.
