=/ The announcement stated that they were giving out donation items.
I doubt they'll be '03s and 04's. Now, a lot of people would be happy to get a devil's tail and say "Screw all," but as someone said in the Magical Poll Land, what about the people that took *years* to get an item like that, then they find that some n00b got it with a click of a button?
Think about it.
Probably sealed envelopes and recent donation items, at most.

Um, if someone spent *years* to get an item like that, than that's really sad. They're pixels for Christ's sake. And anyway, I agree with what Rozureido said

So a user gets a Devil tail through luck and an another one gets one through hard work; sounds just like any lottery we have in real life. Some people get rich through hard work, some people get lucky. That's the way it is. If you can't accept that on the internet, then you better start protesting Powerball or Lotto 649 of whatever in the real life.
How is this (winning an '03 donation item) any different from that (winning the lottery)?
Just prior to this I saw someone (who didn't look rich at all) post that "If they release '03 items I'll be really mad."
I find the whole thing ridiculous. "I worked hard for my set of pixels!" Um, good for you? It's a game, it just makes you look really sad if you claim that you did a lot of work for it. And furthermore, with people who abuse inflation so much, can't you see that on the whole the poor have lost much more in comparison? If the system was balanced in the first place you wouldn't have to work harder than anyone else to get it. Everyone, and I do mean everyone would have a fair and equal chance to get ANY item in the fabled quest system.
See how that make sense? "I spent 2 months on the quest system for my OMG hat," and every other person who owns one would say the exact same. Nobody would benefit from your "work" to get this item, only you. And nobody could get one for any less effort.
When it comes right down to it, fair is fair.
