As i sit beside you, and hold you in my arms,
i start to cry. you dry my tears, and kiss me gently,
and ask, "Why?" "Why did you write this for me?"
then, i say, "because you are my love,
my inspiration for living every day, and this is the
decision i made, to show you how much you mean to me."
as i look up, i feel your tears, falling from the sky, and i smile,
as your tears keep pouring, from me reading this. then,
you hold me close, and hug me tightly, and i tell you, that
when we aren't together, talking to one another, the darkness
blinds me, yet i keep reading this, knowing that you will be here,
forever, to hold me, and dry my tears. i now know, that you
will never leave me, and finally, i decide to close this book of my
feelings, because i don't have to dream, that you are here anymore.
i'm holding you right now, and looking into your eyes, and as i pull
this piece of paper from my back pocket, i start to read you this poem.
