Deep in the eyes of Death I stare,
begging to be set free from my torture.
He lashes out at me, throwing my limp body
Into a pool of lava, screams bellowing out.
I emerge, my head still held high, yet
My heart lays in my hand, cold, black, lifeless.
I charge at the hellish one,
Shouts of justice filling my heavy lungs.
One blank, forever an eternity.
I fight with my dead heart, red with hate
No matter how hard I try, I always fail.
This monster, the one inside me,
He forces me to jump off the cliff
and fall to my death.
This monster, the one controlling me,
Kills the love I held back for Her.
Struggling, I fight, to regain what I lost
My heart, black with rage, I stand tall.
Panting, on my knees, I raise my hand.
This monster, my demonic hell,
lays in the ground, never to be seen again.
