Why do you hate me?
What ever did I do?
I tried to be your friend,
I tried to like you,
But you only repaid me in hate.
When I walk by you, you stare.
When I talk to you, you glare.
When I compliment, you’re disbelieving.
When you win, I’m right their cheering,
But you only repay me in hate.
You surround yourself with new people.
Don’t you remember I was your first friend?
You asked to borrow some money,
Money you’ll pay back in the end.
But you only pay back with hate.
I’m saying good-bye to you now.
Don’t crawl back to me on your knees.
Don’t even speak to me or ask how.
I don’t care if you’re in debt, I’ll ignore your pleas.
For, you see, I’m paying you back with your hate.
