Sands of Time
As the sands of Time blow ever on,
The Dust of those both near to us and far,
Are added to the wind,
Released from the fears and troubles of our world.
Yet though they have reached Peace,
We are left to stare
Into that vast, open, darkness that is the Void.
We feel fear and sadness,
Troubled by loss,
Walking alongside Loneliness,
We believe them gone.
Yes we may see them Eventually;
But Eventually will never come,
For it is already Here.
Each speck of Dust of those both close to us and far,
Has taken a place in our hearts,
As those both Loved and Dear,
Look, Feel, See, and Hear,
What we Look, Feel, See and Hear.
Giving advice on the present,
And Hints about our Future,
Lying in the Depths of our own Soul,
Lost in the Sands of Time,
But forever close,
And kept,
And treasured,
So long as we Remember,
And Believe in them in our Hearts,
And one Day,
We to shall join them in the Sands of Time forever more
