Mortu seemed to fear this place especially the forest.
"I wish the time was now," she looked around. A jade bird flew down before her.
"Hello little bird," she looked around again this time with tears in her eyes.
"Did you know, little bird that the Mortu are said to be coming to cut down all the trees...If I were a man I would stand against them and..." She took a stick and throw it at a tree, about the height of where a man's neck would be. The sudden movement made the bird flutter to the trees. She had tried to control her emotions ever since she heard the news last night at market, but reading this tale she could not control them anymore.
"Where are you, true king of Cabella? Why do you let your people suffer?" she mutter more questions as she walked out of the forest. She quietly walked to her window which always stayed open. As she slipped inside it accord to her that it was midsummer. She slide to the floor and turned around. She stopped dead in her tracks to see the figure that sat on her bed.
