"Arthur," she cried. The name seemed to echo through the cottage. Arthur, Kathrynia's father, came running.
"Yes, Exilda," he said. He is a very muscular man, just like Rath although he was not as swift as Rath.
"Did you know that your daughter is out about," she said. Rath rolled his eyes.
"Father put some sense into mother. Nothing goes wrong during a full moon."
"Well, it is true now, but once long ago there were strange disappearances. That is it. They all return after a while with wonderful tales, but only a few believed them."
"Midsummer's Full Moon, Kathrynia's favorite book," Rath said.
"Exactly, that book is full of nonsense of the mad imaginations," Exilda said. "What if she goes mad and they take her away, like the others."
"Mom please, I know that nothing happens. I have gone out on a full moon, many times." She gave Rath a scolding look. "It is a bunch of old wife's tales. People do not go out simply that is it a holiday and people like sleeping till noon."
"I may be superstitious, but it is because I care about the safety of my children."
"I do not understand Exilda. How is it that when you were young, you loved Midsummer's Full Moon and went out during full moons? Hah..."
"That is because I was young and did not understand the danger. Kathrynia should have known better, the both of you," looking at Rath.
