Lightning flashes,
igniting our passions,
no thought of the actions,
Just simply reacting.
The words of emotion,
like the waves of the ocean.
Filling up til she's floatin`
Undying devotion.
She's in too deep,
to the bottom she'll sink.
Then as quick as a wink,
Her form beginning to shrink.
A hand reaches down,
Her own hand it found,
Wrapped all around,
To her not a sound.
Pulling her out, gasping for breath.
Clinging to him, though he had no strength left.
He would not let her go except,
Until round him her hand had crept.
Somehow inside he found the might
to save not one, but two lives that night.
Reaching the shore he pulled her tight,
"I shouldnt have let you out of my sight."
She smiles in his arms, "My hero" she says,
Her lips gently, his cheek they impress.
"I'll always be your, damsel in distress."
"Well then My Love, this day a success."
