"It's the end of a era!"
I remember only what 4 months ago I joined?
Wow I have learned alot in those four months.. and things are sure changing around here lately!
I mean I feel like we are being herded like cattle into the narrow passage way leading into the new Market Place..
I'm sad that the old one is going.. You cant even list an item on it anymore...
The new one is Big and Intimidating, even though I find navigation through it easier than the old market place... I'm still not happy with the final product.
It's hard sure to "build" a whole marketplace from scratch! I'm sure!
But it just doesnt have the same feeling as it had before.
I mean it doesnt feel 'live' at all.
There was nothing like the rush of reloading the page to see what new item was up for sale.
Yes I know the new marketplace has those features.. but it's more like...
shopping at a warehouse, with rows and rows of bins full of ... stuff. stare
And I do like alot of the features the new MP offers like the old school didnt have.
I guess it will just take some getting used to.
But I dont think it will ever be The MarketPlace.
I think it will be more like, The MarketPlace SuperStore Chaos and More!
Or,
MP = manevolent prejudice.
But that's my thoughts on the situation.. hey, it's my journal!
