All these things running through my head.
Maybe I should have just stayed in the bed.
The thoughts running so madly around.
Though, Pausing to listen to every sound.
Eyes wide open, no sleep shall they take.
Amused and contented, completely awake.
The answers to questions, she hopes to find.
In time, Without losing her mind.
A ravenous hunger for things she craves most.
Cannot be quenched simply drowning the throat.
A delicate web, so intricately woven.
Must not be crossed with no words spoken.
Careful the spider, that's ready to lunge.
Every vibration, absorbs like a sponge.
Tread lightly, have patience, soft words do you speak.
Lulling the spider then, right back to sleep.
