My mom and I [yes, her again. we're summer buddies n_n] went to the zoo today with our free 2 tickets from reading books or something like that. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUN!!!!!! I haven't been to the zoo with my mom for almost 5 YEARS. So it was a blast! I didn't actually learn anything from those plaques/signs/banners with info about the animals we were seeing, but it was still fun. I think my favorite would be the kookaburra bird or the penguins. 8D At the "petting" zoo, we saw this little girl running away from a goat that was following her because she had [goat?] food in her hands; my mom was laughing so hard. XD Then there were these roosters that kept crowing, but at the time, it was around 2:30. Some kids were like "It's not morning!". I got hyper off of churros 8D After that, we had a snack and then went on the carousel. It was super fun. 8D Then we visited a couple more exhibits before going on the steam train, which was also very fun. Some kid sitting in front of me was blowing bubbles to the people we were passing by.
..Later, around 4:00, we went to get some cotton candy and this really nice clerk guy gave 2 to us for free. I almost choked on my first bite because I tried to swallow it before the cotton shriveled up. It hurt XD. Then we got some soda [yay, more junk food D:] to drink, and refilled it like twice, then went home. 8D
Today was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUN!!!! But, now I'm tired. T^T
