I haven't taken the time to really look at any of the features that have come out in the last year or so here on gaia. My internet time consists of checking myspace, checking gaia and maybe playing around with my avi and house, checking facebook, checking my e-mail, checking my wells fargo account, checking on my holds at the library, and than spending about ten minutes reading the latest posts on the web comics I enjoy. This all takes about thirty minutes. So, obviously, I haven't really been looking to closely at anything yet alone gaia.
Today I decided to check on my gaian journal. After editing my last entry to have the proper font, I noticed the "Main" button underneath the gaia journals header for the first time. After clicking that button, I spent maybe sixty seconds watching the latest journal entry section flash through the first paragraph in several gaian's latest entry. In that time, I read a scrap of possibly decent poetry, a rant about making it big in music, some girl's first thoughts about an idea for a story, another girl's excitment about seeing something she refered to as "It" for the first time with her brother and sister smile , and another's comments about how when you bump you get gold.
If anyone happens to be glancing at that same feature when this pops up in the database, the first few lines they will see deal with how I spend my time on the internet.
That makes me laugh almost as much as the entries I saw flash by.
