The Untold Conflict - Prologue(Continued) |

__As Isaac left the bridge, he came across even more glares and insults from the bridge crew. He kept his anger and disgust within himself, for there was no point in starting a ruckus right before an assignment.
__Just as he was about to go into his assigned cell, he was greeted by five angry-looking Scourges. They simply glared at Isaac, until Isaac asked them what was the matter.
__"We won't let a low-life like you take command on the scout mission," one of the Scourges answered.
__Isaac, rather irritated by now, quietly replied "As soon as we touch ground, you are all under my command... Go ahead. Keep ranting on. But I won't tolerate that once the chain of command changes."
__"Oh, but who says the command WILL change?"
__"What do you mean by that, soldier?" Isaac replied as his adrenaline level increased.
__"If we get rid of you before we land..." Another Scourge stated,
__"You won't get a chance to command the scouting force." The other Scourge finished for him.
__Sensing danger, Isaac pulled out his Alphanium dagger, a keepsake of his father.
__"If you wish to dispose of me," Isaac said in a dangerous tone, "Then expect yourselves to be dead."
__"Heh, five Scourges against ONE Beast? Better to go quietly. We won't make it painful." The leader of the pack unsheathed his Defender, a titanic sword only given to high-ranked Scourges. "If you think that puny dagger can stop us, then you better get your brain checked...After it's been splattered on the floor."
__As soon as he finished saying his fair share of insults, he lunged forward and swung his sword down, only to be blocked by Isaac's dagger. Surprised, the Scourge pulled out his sidearm Magnum, and aimed at Isaac's head, only to find that his arm was gone.
__"What the fu..." Before he could finish whatever he was about to say, his head was swiftly ripped off by Isaac's left arm, meeting the same fate as his left arm.
__"Who's up next?" Isaac bellowed in a loud but cold manner. The Scourges were stunned at the sight, but the remaining four lunged at him at the same time, with their war flails and longswords.
__Isaac picked up the magnum from the fallen Sergeant, and shot the frontmost one in the head, his brain splattering to the ones behind him. Then, he picked up the Defender, and split the second one in half, right down the vertical line of symmetry.
__The remaining two was stunned at the Beast's brute force and swiftness, and that was their downfall. Isaac discarded the two weapons, and proceeded to his next targets.
__The Scourges tried to run away, but their effort was futile; Isaac lunged ahead to the nearest one, literally kicked off his head, then dug his left claw inside the stomach of the last Scourge.
__In pain, the Scourge begged and pleaded for the Beast's forgiveness, and Isaac gave him two choices: To die now, with little or no pain, or try to run away.
__Seeing as the Scourge picked the latter, Isaac pulled out his claw, setting the Scourge free... For five heartbeats. Note that his heart was beating fast because of the stress and adrenaline. As soon as his wait was over, he picked up the magnum and shot the running Scourge five times in the back, all impacting the target within approximately 5 units from dead center of his back.
__As the Scourge continued to writhe away on the floor, Isaac aimed at at his head and------ All he saw after that was complete darkness. He saw a faint figure of another scourge as his consciousness faded away...
