poems and stuff
Hey, sup. this is my journal. It holds my poems and stuff
Pitch black, I couldn't see anything from my branch. Not only a new moon, but the stars were hidden behind deep and dark clouds tonight. With my sensitive nose I could smell the rain coming on its way. A slight breeze caught a few strands of my long black hair.

"Psst, Rave!" I heard a male's voice. It must've been Davi.

"What do you want now?" I whispered back.

"Are you still hunting?" he asked. He climbed up the tree quickly.

"I was." I jumped down from my branch. Not only was I done hunting, but I didn't want Scarlet to feel alone and left out. She was still waiting for me at my....sanctuary I guess you could call it.

Davi started to follow me. I couldn't see anything without my night-vision, so I let my eyes adjust. I found a way for an escape, but, somehow, Davi was right behind me.

"Scarlet's with me, by the way." I warned him.

He grumbled something about Scarlet being such a nuisance to him.

"Oh well." he said smug, almost like he was getting his way.

I rolled my eyes. He was more of a nuisance than anybody I knew. He shouldn't have been a vampyre at all. Some days I just wanted to find his maker and just strangle them to death.

"Fine, if you wanna deal with Scarlet, that's okay with me, but you can't complain about it. You brought yourself into this by following me."

"Okay, I won't complain." he shrugged.

“Hey Scarlet. I brought your favorite person with me.” I said sarcastically.

“Oh really? Let me guess, Davi.” she said looking over her shoulder.

“You guessed it.” Davi said in a game show host voice.

"Can't you get any other friends?" Scarlet teased.

"Who said you two were my friends?" he teased back.

I turned around and slapped him. "And you wonder why Scarlet is mean to you." I said giving him the "death glare" as Scarlet had put it.

"Yeah. yeah I know. I'm trying to work on the whole being-nice-to-others thing. I apologize. Thank you for calling me out on my jerkish ways." I wasn't sure if he had meant it, but the look on Scarlet's face was priceless.

She was shocked, and yet in her eyes she was telling me that this was the reason she liked him. This was the first time she'd ever seen the sincere side of him. I could tell that she'd really liked it.

Oddly enough, Davi and I have always had something between us, and that's why Scarlet backed off. This was a reason why she was my bestfriend. Eventhough she was human, she didn't mind that I was a vampyre and I was lucky enough that her sleeping shedule was off and completely turned around.

You'd think she'd be asleep at this time of night. It was four o'clock in the morning for humans, which meant it was bedtime for vampyres.

I yawned, "I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting sleepy and I think I'm about to go to bed. Scarlet, you get the guest bedroom. Davi, you get the couch."

I felt a sudden chill and shuddered. It felt as if some one had run an icy cold finger down my back. It was a weird feeling and it was something that never happened to me. Especially in the comfort of my own home.

I slipped into some pj's and went to bed. I had a long and unsuccesful night.

A lone wolf let out a howel at the cresent moon. the air was crisp and fresh. a slight breeze chilled the night. I could smell a human and two vampyres, but I couldn't narrow down where the smell was coming from. I found an area where the smell was strong. it was like they were underground or something. I didn't know what i should do next.

I decided to rest in a tree, where I could see the clearing easily.
