So, I haven't posted in like, 4 years. WOW. It's been a long time. So much has happened. I'm no longer dating Phillip. After 7 1/2 years I finally realized what a jerk he was and ended things with him back in December. Long story. Short version, I went out of town to visit a guy friend (Ethan) and Phillip knew about the trip weeks in advance and decided 2 days before I was supposed to leave that he suddenly wasn't ok with it and we had this huge fight about it, and he basically forbid me from going. I went anyways. He might have been my boyfriend, but I sure as hell wasn't his property, and there was no way in hell I was gonna let him control me. So that started a whole new fight and I told him not to talk to me until I got back in town, and he didn't. And I realized I was much happier spending time with Ethan than I ever was with Phillip. When I got back to town, I broke up with Phillip. Ethan and I started talking more and more often, and a few weeks after breaking up with Phillip we started dating. It's been almost 6 months now, and I'm happier than I have ever been. I just got back from spending a week up in Pennsylvania with him, and in 19 days he'll be flying down here to visit me and finally meet my parents. I'm so excited about it.
