User Image×__۫It’s a bright // new star

`Stop theif;; Big, Bronze Brawns
    `Make way for;;
Taj Marakeef
`Sands of time;; Twenty-Five
`Well lookie here;; Manly Man
`What be your pleasure;; One might be able to assume straight.

×__۫They’d look closer

    `Don’t you dare close you eyes;;
Dark Brown

`With a fine tooth comb;; Taj has short –to-medium length messy hair, which is obviously wavy when he starts to let it grow a bit longer than normal. Its color is a single chocolate brown all over, practically identical to his eyes, though gleams of sunlight may make it look as though he has blonde highlights every now and then.
Being the part-time manual-laborer (with help from the newbie) of a crew also tends to make Taj,and his hair, wet, whether by water or sweat. You will most often see him wearing a red cloth just below the beginning of his hairline, to catch the droplets that form once his hair has been completely drenched. When wet, the sun gleams are brigher, and his hair can look almost black in color.

`Unbelievable sights;; One might expect that a man of Taj’s build would have a face to match, and in this case, those expectations are correct. A rather boxy, sharp-edged face, complete with a rugged jaw-line and a cleft chin make the typical image of macho-muscle man apparent on Taj’s face. In addition to this, his face seems to have a muscular build, as his tanned skin looks spread tightly across cheeks that seem to bulge, as though they too have been worked-out, slightly below his eyes. This bulging could however, come from the very slightly sunken in sides of his face. Finally a never ending five-o’-clock shadow adds to his facial features around his mouth and chin, down slightly to his neck, and fading up into his neat sideburns.

Aside from these manly features, Taj has some more delicate parts about his face, just to lighten him up a bit. A pair of rather large, plump, pink tinged lips for a man of his build, as well as a skinny, very triangular shaped nose seem to contrast the backdrop of a face they lie on. His eyes as well, seem to have a deepness and sensitivity to them, if you spot him at the right time, though his bushy brown eyebrows may contradict that feeling at some points. Otherwise he often looks dead, bored, or simply dazed in the face.

`Let me see you dance;; Taj is an intimadating seven foot man, of about a 200 pound weight, though this is mostly muscle. He is fairly proportoinate, with his legs being slightly longer than his torso, and each half just as equally as built. He is of course, without a doubt, very built, as his muscles bulge in almost any position he is in, whether sitting, standing, or stretching. His tan skin keeps the look even more intimadating and big, as it covers tightly over his bones and muscles. His legs appear to have no fat on them, as lines from muscular build run down his thigh and outline his shins, creating the image of legs that could (and probably will) send you flying with a single kick. His arms look the same way, as both his upper and lower arm have been built up by heaving lifting, or tossing, or fighting. Take your pick.

His torso, is of course, no exception to the rest of his studly body. A rather obvious six (almost eight) pack covers his stomach and surrounds his deep, oval shaped navel, but manages to stretch and flow both upwards, into built pectorals and neck muscles with a collar bone that juts out slightly, and downwards, curving nicely at the hip into his nether regions and legs. Starting about an inch below his navel is the infamous “happy trail” of dark yet lightly showing hair that follows the midline of his abs to below the belt. His back could be considered the yang to his front sides yin, as often it looks sleek and soft in a sense, because of the fact that his muscular build does not show up here so much. At his shoulders and neck there is the obvious rounding of muscles towards the back, but otherwise Taj has a smooth back, lacking the jutting lines and edges of the rest of his body, but also lacking the pudge one might suspect of that smoothness.

As far as clothing goes, Taj genrally just wears pants. No shirt, because it’s too hot out for that. No shoes, because they throw him off balance and being barefoot seems to give him better control of his muscles. No anything except a pair of off-white pants cut off just below the knee. So technically, shorts, but really, just cut pants. It may make him look like a peasant man, but it sure beats a constricting shirt, vest, or anything else they might catch you up down the road. When shoes are required a pair of thronged sandals (flip-flops) of a brown leather are worn with much disdain.

Overall, Taj’s body makes clear his purpose, his personality, and his strength. It would be hard to underestimate a man of his stature and build, and if you should find youself making this mistake, praise Allah that the chisled statue of a warrior ahead of you is in a good mood.

`Hold your breath it gets better;; Though perhaps not unique, Taj has a multitude of scars all over his body. Because of the sheer number, age, or commoninity of them, these scars are often over looked on Taj’s body. A few important ones, however, are a series of three scars, all the same length and shape, stretching from elbow to wrist on his forearm. Aside from these three, Taj’s other scars range from little scratches and cuts to longer or deep wounds on his legs arms and chest. Surely to someone new, these scars are scary, but for those who know him better, they are like a second nature, or even unexistant.

Also, as mentioned before, Taj can sometimes seem to hold a sense of sensitivty about him at certain moments, despite the comments often made that he is nothing more than a dumb thug. He seems to hold more insde him than he shows, and this idea will periodically glisten in his eyes, in the rarity of his speech, or in the occasional courage of his actions.

×__۫Every turn a // surprise

    `A diamond in the rough;; Taj is most commonly known as the tough guy. The badass, bodyguard, kick-a**-take-names-later, kind of guy. And it works for him, and overall, for the group. Being the strong guy gains him respect out of fear, but at the same time, also gets him disrespect out of idiocy. You see, in addition to being the “strong one” Taj is also stereotyped as the “stupid one”. It something to be expected really, and Taj never seems to mind. He lets things slide with a face so uncaring people tend to think he didn’t even process the sarcastic comment about his thick skull. It easier to just let them think that.

    You see, truthfully, Taj is about as smart as the average man. Granted, he probably couldn’t stand up to the Brain’s aptitude, he is nonetheless, more intelligent than people give him credit for. However,what he lacks in book-smarts he makes up for in common sense. Taj knows better than to let his brain shine when he’s already been labelled. For this reason, Taj developed his “oucast” way of doing things. He chooses to be incredibly silent and passingly obideint simply because he knows better. One (no matter how strong), against a group, is never a pretty sight, and so Taj sticks with the flow.

    This kind of thinking makes him a practical, no-bullshit man. He chooses to take the easy path rather than develop some overly detailed plan, and likes to get straight to the point rather than meander arounds bushes made of words and intricacies. So it’s a bonus that he really has one simplistic, easy to follow goal in the group. To beat the hell out of intimidate people. And intimidating is easier when you’re a big hunk of stone-faced and silent man-flesh. He’s also fairly laid-back for as cold as he looks, though, like any other person, he can be riled up into a mood. He can only take snide comments and remarks for so long, and only from certain people, so when this happens, the testosterone he holds can be very apparent in the proceeding anger he obtains. Happiness is often one represented in a slight, almost strained smile or a silent chuckle, and sadness is hardly ever. As one might suspect, Taj does not cry. He will mourn, but he will not cry. These hardly represented emotions (except anger), are what one might catch in his “moments”.

    Outside of the group, Taj keeps to himself. He tends not to join in other groups activities unless he is drug along, and generally prefers to sleep, eat, or wander. He is, as mentioned before, incredibly silent. Unless you are truly engaging him in conversation, he is most likely going to respond to with nods, grunts, or facial expressions. When he’s with people on his downtime, he often seems to get uncomfortable, and will often leave when one too many people have showed up at his side. Some find that this makes him “tall, dark and handsome”, while others label him as a loner. Taj just doesn’t like it. Being close to people (in both friendly and romantic terms), was something he never really bothered with, although if the right time, place, and person came along, it could be consdered.
    For the most part, Taj is like a trained dog. Obidient and useful when needed, and otherwise unconnected and seemingly lazy when not.

`What is your wish;;
>> Water :: It’s cool, it replenishing, and it’s a lifesource to just about everything.

>> Gold :: Every man is entitled to his bit of greed.

>> Fruit :: A bit unexpected of a manly man, but those damned pineapples are too good.

>> Adventure :: A more entertaining form of running away.

>> Nice people :: Though he’d never show it.

>> Children :: When they’re not screaming and running away in fear.

>> Alone time :: Obvious.

`One hit;;
>> Alcohol :: Anything that makes you more stupid than usual isn’t very appealing.

>> Reading :: It takes too much time.

>> Small men with big egos :: Brains. Also, drunk punks with scragly arms.

>> Rich people :: Because money makes the world go round in twisted cycles.

>> Death :: It’s surprising and unfair.

>> The color green :: Ugly.

>> Shoes :: Barefoot please.

`Personality Flaws;;
>> Quiet :: It may make for mysterious, but it’s also aggitating and suspicious.

>> Non-intelligent :: Depends on how look at him, but most will opt for this flaw.

>> Uncaring :: Being laid-back has it’s ups and downs.

>> Obidient (to one) :: Taj often follows orders according to ranking. Brains controls almost everything, below second in command and the boss.

`Genie, I wish for;;
I wish I could go back in time.

I wish I could fly.

I wish I could fix everything.

`There’s so much more to me;; Taj was born under unacceptable terms. A white trader from the homeland of England, mixed with a supposedly well-behaved wife of an Arabic noble is never a good. And so when the proceeding child of this affair came out, white and English looking, it became an outcast. No one could bear the shame of him in the home, nor the shame of a cheating wife. It was sheer luck that they both were not killed there.

The husband had been tolerant. He sufficed with a beating and throwing out of Taj’s mother and disgraced child. This action however, made more consequences for the now homeless pair of outcasts. They were now regarded as unworthy, forced to live in the life of beggars and theives. The trader was truly their only hope, as he provided enough food to live on, and enough time to give Taj a chance to grow up. But that time wouldn’t last very long, especially with the remaining vengance to his mother’s ex-husband. In other words, the man Taj called a father was killed on sight, out of jealousy.

Luckily, Taj was now old enough (pre-teen years), to scrounge a living for the helpless pair. His mother was now regarded as a disgrace everywhere, so to be in public was a terrible taboo. Taj came upon theivery as the best way to obtain things, despite it’s consequences. The scars on his arms represented a particular time that a shop keeper caught him. He got away.

This lifestyle continued until Taj grew older. By his eigtheenth birthday everything was seeming to go well. Taj had become more experienced, and more built, so he easily obtained better positions in larger theiving raids. But then his mother died while he was away, and things changed. The once moderately happy lifestyle shifted into loneliness and fear as Taj began to realize he was by himself. He delved into a shell and refused to come out, but remained a part of the stealing society. His produced silence was a bonus for working on group raids over the years, but he also became an outcast even more by the fact that he could not connect with anyone. He lost everyone he felt close to, and to him, they was no one else to replace that.

Besides, it was easier to carry on that way.

×__۫Power in your corner now

    `I’m true;;

I want to leave the land
    to talk about the sea

    with water running in my hand

    so I can finally be free.

`Nom de plum;; Sorla

`Jot it down;; "With some people solitariness is an escape not from others but from themselves. For they see in the eyes of others only a reflection of themselves." – Eric Hoffer
