Well i feel like writing a short story thanks to my friend shelby ^^

He listened closely as he heard small, almost baby like, footsteps coming up the stairs. It was 10 past midnight and Kevin, the baby, was supposed to be in his bed snuggled up to a blue moon and stars blanket which kevin reffered to as his bankie. Andrew yawned and got up from the bed and turned to see his wife, Julie, still sleeping soundly. He smiled and then remembered Kevin.

Amdrew opened the door and walked to the stairs. He looked down them and saw not a soul stepping anywhere. Andrew, slightly frightened, slowly took gentle steps down the stairs. He figured he had just been hearing things but had to make sure. Andrew flipped the light switch in the living room and looked around. He looked towards the kitchen and saw greenish glowing eyes.

'Most likely that damned cat' He thought to himself. He sighed and flipped on the light sitch and jumped up and back probably 5 feet. There on the counter was Kevin, hands all bloody and as was the knife in them. The cat, or the body so to say, lay beside him a scattered mess of blood and guts. Kevin held a small smirk to his face. His eyes held satisfaction at the dead cat, and the blood on his hands said he was finished.

Kevin cooed after a minute and reached out to his father. Andrew couldn't bring himself to go any nearer to the boy than he already was. Andrew shot up stairs, leaving the light on, and heaved himself into the bed. He was surprised when Julie didn't wake up. He didn't care at the moment. He just hoped he was having the worst dream of his life. After an hour Andrew fell asleep again.

The next morning Andrew woke with the chills. He turned and saw that Julie wasn't awake yet and he looked at the clock. It was only 7 in the morning. Julie almost never woke up until 9 on the weekends. Andrew calmly and quietly got out of the bed. He went out of the room and walked down the stairs. He noticed both the kitchen and living room lights were on. He did his best to make himself believe it that Julie had woken earlier but went back to sleep but in his heart he knew it wasn't true.

Andrew walked to his son's bedroom and opened the door. He saw that Kevin was calmly asleep in his crib. This calmed Andrew a little and he cautiously walked to the crib and swallowed back a scream when he saw a bit of blood in the crib. Maybe kevin had gotten a little hurt in his crib but even Andrew knew the real answer.

Andrew, scared to death, walked into the kitchen...to see if the cat was there. He walked to the counter and saw blood all over and cat hair strew and a small brain in the sink...but for some reason he got the sinking feeling his son had eaten the cat last night...so he went back to Kevin's room. He saw cat hair strewn all over and walked over to Kevin. He felt Kevin's stomach and it felt very full. He most likely at the cat.

Andrew, with no ease at all, cleaned up the mess, all, and acted as if nothing had happened. The next few nights no baby steps were heard but then he heard baby steps...and he soon into the night he heard the whine of a dying dog.
