Well the german exchange girl came. her name is Johanna (sp) and she's nice. She gave my entire family gifts when she came here. she didn't even have to but she did and that was nice of her. I really liked it b/c it was chocolate with toys inside. Weird? I know but cool!
Also friday was her birthday (or today) the day right after she came. She was so surprised that we were celebrating her birthday so early in the morning and the fact we gave her cake and cupcakes. Did you know she didn't really know what a cup cake was and she had never had cake for her birthday before?
for her birthday they would have a special fruitcake (not like the nasty ones on christmas) and so i thought that was odd. Oh well. We went to mainevent and she had fun i think. I don't know if she enjoys our family that much but i hope she does.
