Please dear God I pray to thee
Don't let this happen to me
Don't let this be the end
I still want to be her friend
I know I don't deserve it
And that I'm selfish beyond compare
But please god, just once
Let this life be fair
I put up with it all
And try not to complain
Please don't take away the person
That for so long has kept me sane
I swear I'll do better
I promise that I can
