Again, cross-country humor. I really like cross-country, we have one more race before regionals. That is kind've depressing, but the season was good and I think i'm going to do it again! My new pr is 24:04. I went from a 27:55 at the begining of the season too a 24:04.
The weirdest race ever was yesterday. The varsity team ran a handicapped race. The slowest person goes first, then there is a thirty second interval before the second slowest. It keeps going at that rate for seven rounds, since that it the amount of people allowed to be on a varsity team. Anyway the fastest runner has a two-and-a-half minute handicap. The sad thing is our team has only 2 out of 3 girls running. Makeing me the second fastest. So I had a two minute handicap the entire race. It was fun though! I feel bad for our fastest girl, she beat me, but the handicap definetly affected her worse than me.
