We are a bunch of Highschool boys with a large Metal spike. What could possibly go wrong?
At my cross-country meet yesterday our best runner came up with that. Him, and 4 others (all male) were throwing a large metal spike into the air while waiting for the rain delays to end. Eventually our coach noticed it and told them to stop so he said that. (the opening sentence.) I found it incredibly funny and decided to put it down.
Along with that our second best runner rolled up some grass so it looked like a blunt and we were all passing it around at the rewards ceremony. This is utter randomness, yet I find it incredibly funny. Cross-country is great!
Plus I improved my score!
I went from a pr of 27:02 to a pr of 25:35!
I'm really happy about that!
