He's lost to me now

He left so very silent
without a word he was gone
I guess with it all he was content
and with that i could tell it would soon be done

All friendship would be lost
and our words to each other would be with frost
Our looks would be cold
but I will stay bold

My heart is filled with fear
I don't understand
Nothing is clear
My heart weighs like a bag of sand

My eyes hold no emotion
I feel i should have no more devotion
Towards what we had
was i really that bad?

Did i really hurt that much?
We did talk about things and such
I tried my best and i tried not to fight
but i guess for him my best wasn't right

The sky over my head is gray
There isn't much i really wish to say
Nothing more about the problem
Well not to many words...maybe just some

The hurt is worse then anything
The pain that it truely will bring
The saddness will fill my heart completely
And my world will crumble ever so neatly

Please just try and take the thoughts away from me
If you can do that then we'll see
Maybe someday i will be fine
But until then the feelings are mine
