You were further away then my arms could reach,
But I could still feel you,
Feel you hugging me,
And the warmth of you're body against my own.
You were further away then I could yell,
So I couldn't hear your response,
But after a while,
When I'd lay in my bed with my eyes open,
And I'd say 'I love you',
I could almost hear you say it back to me.
I looked at my phonebook,
Over and over,
Just to see your name and number,
And when I did,
My heart beet picked up as if you were here with me,
Making me wish,
Wish you were here.
I listened to your old messages,
Loving your voice,
Even if you were a little quite,
Making out each of your words in my head,
Even if one of them you were a little loopy while recording it.
10,000 or more miles away,
And my love still continues to grow for you,
Never wanting to let you go,
Never wanting to forget you,
I'll wait until the end of time for you,
I'll wait after death for you,
As long as I get to tell you,
I love you.
