I held her in my hands,
feeling her begin to slip away.
I reminded her of our plans
and told her that it wasn't her day.
I asked her not to go
I even got and begged on my knees.
she told me not to worry so
and that i would ner her voice in the breeze.
I cried my heart out
as she accended into the sky.
I looked up, tears in my eyes
and yelled "why?".
I picked up the poison
that she had drank
and i took a sip of it,
as i felt my heart begin to sink.
I smiled in happiness
for our love would be forever
and i closed my eyes gently,
knowing that i wouldn't feel pain. Ever.
