Tears, falling gently like rain,
your eyes, softly expressing the pain.
Our hope is never ending,
Our love always mending,
past experiences, which hurt us so,
future experiences, we do not know.
Someway, somehow we got through,
by treating each day anew.
We lace our fingers together,
and hold each other close forever.
looking into the moon-lit sky
the stars sparkling softly.
