Long day in the office today. It started out great but the day felt as though it dragged. Couldn't get out of my own head. I think I need to take a step back again. Good news and weird dreams? Good news is the settlement is finally done with, just need to sign the paperwork and we're gucci. I had a weird dream where I was stepping on black snakes, all dead and not even writhing. I was walking towards an old friend and I asked what the ******** those were and he said they were snakes. I was then jolted awake by pure instinct because I guess my body realized I hadn't set my alarm. I looked at the time and I woke up at the perfect time to take a shower and head to work.
The funny thing about this dream was that I looked it up and found that it's a common omen for walking away from a bad situation. My life is moving forward in a positive direction and the snakes were what slowed me down. I'm here for it. Ready to keep pushing forward and hone myself to a be a better man. For myself and those I do and will care for in the future. heart
