Staring into the night-time sky,
the tears shining brightly,
I held her close in my arms.
They said that out love wasn't real,
We said that it wasn't a lie,
We said that we were gonna prove it to them,
That the fairy-tale ending can come true.
I held you in my embrace,
and kissed you lovingly.
You turned around, and licked my face,
then giggled cutely.
When i would smile, you always smiled back,
and that finally proved to them,
That the love we shared was true,
As the black night sky, turned to blue,
and while the sun rose high in the sky,
they finally knew the reason why.
