I know I've done wrong,
I know I've hurt,
No matter how far, or how long,
Our hearts are apart,
I will always love you,
and don't ever forget it.
No matter how you hate so,
There is one thing that I'll always know,
and that is I did wrong.
They said that we would be together
and be able to live happily forever,
unfortunately, because of past events,
we won't get the fairy-tale ending,
but a lifetime of sorrow, greiving, and mending.
I want to say that I'm sorry,
I want to show that I care.
I know we have the love for another
and our feelings are still there,
So as I write this poem
and live what's left of my life alone,
I ask one thing to you:
Could you ever forgive me?
