You. Whoever's reading this. Got off your butter behind and get The Twelve Kingdoms.
It's off the hizzy, even all those pop icons including Snoop Dog and Hilary Duff said it was wiggidy whack and and all over the place.
Which means, it's cool.
What the Twelve Kingdoms is about is about currently these three story arcs.
Of the future queen of Kei, Youko and her battles with the king of Kou and her jealous friend Yuka.
Also, about the Kirin of the kingdom of Tai, who is a taika (Which means that he was born in Japan instead of the world of the Twelve Kingdoms) and comes back to the land of the Twelve Kingdoms to find out he is a legendary "Black Kirin" which brings a good future to it's kingdom.
And, a story about three girls who are alike in apperance and character. Youko, the new queen of Kei is learning the responsibilty of being a queen and hwo to govern a kingdom.
The princess of Tou whose father had been killed by the revolting people and is forced to live a life of the normal citizen.
And a kikayaku (Which means "foreigner" she's from Japan and doesn't belong in the land of the Twelve Kingdoms.) in the kingdom of Sou who hopes to return her way home and is constantly feeling sorry for herself.
The animation's sorta sloppy but only a certain times, but the storyline's rich and full of twists. It's better than DBZ, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, .hack//SIGN, Azu Manga Daioh, all of that wrapped up together couldn't compare to this. This series is just THAT good.
