As light fades to darkness, death to life and thus to death again. Truth is an elusive figure, sought in the far corners of land and in the depths of one's mind. But for every truth we seek for the questions have more appear on our plates. Every answer we aquire brings forth five new questions that seek resolve. So we ask ourselves, is it better to live in bliss? Or should we continue on the fruitless search for the ultimate answer, for the unknown in our lives to be known to us? Today, to continue the cycle of pain and torment, a baby demon is born.

In hell a small shack sits in the middle of nowhere. It is made out of bones and extremely heat resistant rock. There is one door on the front of this shack, which stays closed for most of the day, shielding the heat from the outside from getting into the structure. There is no lawn of any sort. The shack sits upon a large chunk of stone, one of many that sits in the massive landscape of molten rock that covers the grounds of hell. This shack is one of many in the area, but on this day sounds of a baby echo from within the confines of the four walls. Though normally quiet these sounds draw nothing from the outside to come see. No one talks to one another, nor do they bother to care. Such is the way this palce is, such is normal in the affairs of hell.

The little infant cryed again loudy, twisting and turning his limbs to and fro. His face was disfigured with the upset feeling he had, and he cryed louded. His mother held him up and wrapped him in a small blanket. She gazed down upon him lovingly, his short red hair barely visable on the top of his head; his eyes were crimson like his father's and hit her with a small bit of dispare, which only lasted a moment. She held him close to her; the nine months and nine days she endured pregnancy, than the four grueling hours of labor she went through had taken it's tole on her. She was alone during birth, and the strain it had on her almost crippled her. Sweat covered her brow and she gleamed with the reflection of the dim candle she had in the corner to light the room. Her new child had nuzzled into her chest, searching for the soft beat of her heart which has lulled him to sleep for several months now. Finding it, he yawned sleepily and passed out slowly into a light sleep while listening to it. She laughed a little at her son and yawned herself.

"I shall name you Tsukasa... Tsukasa Roan Soul..." She whispered softly. And with that she closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep. She was plauged by nightmares that night though. Her past had rushed back into her mind shortly after falling asleep. She mumbled in her sleep, crying for the love of her life who had left her for another because she wasn't a demon of high class. It was the night she found out she was pregnant that he vanished. He had laughed when she asked him to marry her and turned his back on her and their child. She cried the entire night... a downcast night for such a happy event that preceded it.

Time passed swiftly and this little boy grew up. Quickly he shot past his first step, his first word, grew a full set of teeth and a full head of spikey red hair. His childhood was quiet and bitter to him. He never left his house and was never told that he was demonic in any way. His home teachings however had started to give him a sense of what he was. One day while playing in his room he had conjured up a fire ball and was playing with it, when him mom rushed into the room, dispelled the fire and scolded him for it. Though it was more out of a horrified scold, for she knew that if he found out why it was just him and her, he would blame her and leave. But Tsukasa loved his mom, and did as he was told. When she left the house for groceries he stayed in his room and didn't move. When she told him to hide he did, even though he could hear voices yelling at her and sounds of the objects in the house crashing. He only asked who they were once, but she never told him. He remembered with anger at how he was powerless to do anything about her pain, and how he had come out of hiding when the voices subsided only to find his mother laying in rubble, bleeding from several wounds.

Everything seemed to move on without trouble until one night on Tsukasa's 10th birthday. Tsukasa had just woken up and jumped into his mother's bedroom to wish her good morning when he noticed she was already awake. She was on her knees in front of her nightstand, her face in her hands and whimpering softly. He walked up to her and gently tapped her on the shoulder. Slowly she turned and he saw her face covered in tears.

"Mom... What's wrong..." Tsukasa said softly.

"W-we... have to run. I... I'm so sorry... They found out that you're here, we have to run... we have to escape..."
She spoke with both fear and frenzy. She scooped Tsukasa up and bound towards the front of the house. She held her hand out towards the door and Tsukasa could feel the sensation of heat building up. He looked up and saw a massive fire ball growing on the end of her hand. It exploded outward, and blasted straight through the door.

"MOM! You can do that too!?" Tsukasa yelled with amazment as they flew out of the front of the house. But he was struck instantly by the sight around him. His eyes wandered for what felt like years to him. The giant stones that floated in what looked to be a river of magma filled the entire area. The sky was a distinct dark red and gray that glew with an unholy glow. He felt wind again and snapped back to reality, his mom was running with him in her arms. He looked up at her wide eyed and scared for he had never seen his mother act like this. Behind him there was a massive explosion that shook the ground beneath them. She stumbled for a moment but got back up and continued to run. Yelling and calling could be heared behind them and his mom's pace increased.

"Mom! Where are we going!? What's going on!?" He said terrified.

"Lucifer's private army is comming for you, they know of your existance now and they're comming to take you into their numbers." She said as they continued to run. In the distance Tsukasa could make out the outlines of several figures heading towards them and they appeared to be gaining on them.

"But where are we? I don't know where we are!" Tsukasa cried out.

"We're in hell! But you have to leave, you have to get to the above realm. I'll send you through a portal and seal it so he can't follow you. Just please live after I'm gone alright? And promise you won't take revenge for anything they do!" She bellowed.

Tsukasa remained quiet though, he didn't want to promise that... he didn't want to leave her... he wanted to finally rise up and do something to protect her, but by the time he realized that was what he wanted it was to late. They had arrived at a massive round portal. Strange encryptions covered every inch of it, and the inside looked like a mass of colors strewn together on a waving canvas. She took one last step and threw him into it. Tsukasa cried out to his mother to come with him and saw to his horror a tear fall down her face and her turn away from him. Just before he lost consiousness the soldiers caught up to them, and he saw a sword plunge into her and a bright light cover everything...
