My Real life about me

Disclamer: I would love to say I have friends and am social, but this is not the case.

My name is Laura. I live in and around my grandmother's house. I rarely venture out. This is because I am scared. I generally like people, but I have seen what they can do and how they harm others. I would not like to be one of these others, so I stay inside and away from people most of the time. When I do get the strength to venture out of the house I love talking to people, and you would think I'm having fun and did this all the time. However, this doesn't happen often.
I don't have friends, and the people in my life annoy the hell out of me. My parents are included in this statement. I dislike "doing" things, but as I said before, once I get started, I am good. The bane of my life has been to do nothing (day dream, pet dog, clean, exc.) and I am good at it. I actually don't have a problem with doing nothing, it's when others get involved that I don't like my life. This is why I say that I like my life, but I don't like it.
I am stubborn. I am very stubborn. I don't like trying anything that requires energy. I don't like to be accountable for things. The only thing I like trying is new foods. However, I am usually quite happy in my little world consisting of an acre of land. I don't really have goals or things that I do, like hobbies in life, as those require too much effort. If you were to ask me what I do in life at a party, the only thing I could answer is that I'm going to college for culinary arts in the fall. I really do nothing right now (in the summer).
One thing that is different about me is that I love nature and being outside, we have many different animals on our property, and even some wild turkeys! Nature is the one thing that I will give effort and try for. I am vegan and proud of it, and this requires dedication and trying. It's not easy, but this is just 1 way that I respect nature. I also try not to kill any animal because I believe that they all are equal, we are equals with them. My family thinks I'm nuts because of that.
