Key words to the school pep rally for homecoming: FAIL!
No school spirit whatsoever. They were doing a 'which grade has the post spirit?' thing and no one really put anything in to it, and when they got to the seniors, silence. I mean literally, no one said anything. It was the perfect moment to shout 'FAIL', but I didn't.
Plus they didn't tell us till today that you HAVE to go to the carnival and that you don't pay to get in, but pay for the tickets to play the games and such. So I'm thinking I can stay behind in class and clean the board or something, but no, I have to go wander in the heat with nothing to do but read, because I didn't bring money to pay for the stupid tickets. stressed
But I did get to hang out with this girl who's a friend of Alexis's, and she was really nice. She was new too, yet she knew more about the school and the people than I did. She said I looked liked a senior! 4laugh Less likely to get beat up on freshmen friday, whenever that is. And she said I looked like a girl who would be from Texas and a farm! mrgreen I am very proud of my roots, thank you.
I went to Ikea with my dad. That place is freaking huge! It's like they bred a play ground, a day care, a mall, a home depot, a bed bath and beyond, a target, and a publix together. We got lost, twice. But we got what we needed, now lets hope it doesn't break before we move into a more permanent residence!
I might get to go to Florida soon! My dad has to go back again for something and he said I could come the next time! I need to talk to Caroline about that and such... Maybe we could plan a get-together with everyone...
