Even though no one has commented about my last poetry entry evil
But I shall try again with this one!
Lies
You hear silence,
but words are yelled.
You see a smile,
but tears fall.
You feel warmth,
but I'm ice cold.
I spoke lies,
to cover the truth.
The Opposite
day, night
sun, moon
smile, frown
all opposites,
that are togther.
Things that are so unalike,
they only match each other.
People can't do that.
Small differences equal unworthy,
large differences equal enemy.
we're pretty, they're ugly
we're smart, they're dumb
we're white, they're black
we're at the top, they're at the bottom
In nature opposites support eachother,
in us opposites seperate each other.
Only a select few see it.
Even fewer try to do anything and fix it.
I notice.
I'm working to change that.
Looking
I've torn myself apart,
shredded every hope of success,
looking for a reason to exist.
I've lost all hope of self esteem,
given myself no excuse to dream.
While others mope around their looks,
I pray for mere acceptance.
The feelings I've relished upon myself,
no one else tries to find in my demeanor.
So I've taken to wander alone,
even though I long for a companion.
But yet I've found no one,
who I believe will listen,
to all I have to yell.
While everyone else enjoys ruining others,
I've taken to ruining myself.
Now no one knows what I've sought,
and what I've found.
Okay so that's it for today because I'm too lazy to type anymore xp but please PLEASE comment on it.
