Things I wrote on 5/28/09:
I've smiled and waved,
I've laughed and joked,
I've ran and cried,
I've done it all.
But nothing's going to be like this departure.
My eyes will become stones,
my throat will clench shut,
my body will become rigid,
and a tight, tiny, upset smiled will blossom on my lips.
It's still not going to help.
You'll drive away,
staring at me from the back window,
and wave,
frowning and reaching.
I'll stand still and lift my hand.
I'll laugh and cry,
I'll run and stay,
I'll joke and sob,
But it won't bring you back.

When I say 'cloud',
one thing usually comes to mind.
Something that causes darkness
in your sunny day.
But when 'rainbow' is mentioned,
you think something different.
Something that brings happiness,
joy, content, and color.
A bad day makes you darker,
angrier and conceded.
A good day makes you happy,
joyful and cherry.
All in all, though,
Think about it.
Remember,
A cloud creates a rainbow.
