The snow gently falls around us,
onto my chocolate brown hair,
onto his golden brown hair,
catches on our long lashes,
makes a winter wonderland,
making a happy, beautiful scene,
but, his voice brings avalanches,
the sound so loud,
i shudder as he yells,
his anger radiates into the air,
melting snow,
he, thought i slept with another,
a lie, but he believed it all the same,
he walks closer to me,
i start to back away but he grabs me by the arm,
hits me again and again,
soon, the light begins to fade,
the world grows colder than before,
i pass out for the last time in that cold winter wonderland.
